Description

I was inspired by seeing the Sniper Marine LVS pole, being able to rotate a handle to scan with the transducer instead of turning the entire pole. I came up with many design to accomplish this task, and settled on this one. The main housing is designed with a taper to fit into a receiver this case for a 2013 Alumacraft 165 classic (Hopefully you guys can adapt a receiver for your needs). The main pole is made from 1.50" x 0.065" wall 6061 (this size was common to get, and allows for the transducer cable to fit inside). This will need (3) holes drilled see attached picture for dimensions. Make sure you deburr the holes and cut ends of the tubes to avoid any damage to transducer cable. Near the handle there is a clamp joint designed to adjust the rotation resistance (so it stay where you want when moving on the water). If assembly documentation is needed let me know and I could put some together, but its pretty straight forward.
