Shanwen Armor, Lamellar Armor

This creation draws inspiration from the lamellar golden armor in Black Myth, prompting research into the origins of Shanwen armor.

Shanwen armor originates from a lost ancient Chinese armor construction method – lamellar armor. Modern interpretations, actually based on inferences from paintings and sculptures, are contemporary reinterpretations:

Regardless, the construction is quite sound. I've created a supportless, single-piece print version. Its use is currently unclear; it might be suitable for costume props. I personally consider it a fabric structure. The original version could be 'dismantled' from the edges. Later, I designed a locked, single-piece print version (the downside is its reduced flexibility compared to the unlocked version).
