Do you like Japanese castles?
Kikko-zumi is a type of stone wall piling method. It is a method of piling up hexagonal shapes like a turtle's shell without gaps. Although it is characterized by its resistance to collapse because the weight of the stones is distributed, it is said that only financially and time-wise wealthy castle owners could build it because of the time-consuming and labor-intensive processing involved.
With this history in mind, we created the turtle shell stacked bowl.
Mesh specifications are provided in the gaps between the turtle shells to increase ventilation and prevent root rot.

Adapted a special mesh specification called Gyroid structure to enhance ventilation and drainage. The aim is not only to prevent root rot, but also to speed up leaf development due to faster drying and watering cycles.
#To grow new roots
Because the root caps are averse to air and light, roots that reach the inner circumference of the gyroid pot will pause and try to grow new roots. Taking advantage of this characteristic, we aimed to create a specification that increases the amount of roots while inhibiting root turning (circling).
