Description

Celebrate the new year with the Deluxe Year of the Snake Ink Stamp Set

The set includes a cobra snake handle mount, ink box holder, and nine different stamps.

Custom stamps

There are many high quality SVG illustrations available for sale online. These images or custom drawn images of your own can be used to create stamps using the Stamp Blank.stl file available from the download button. The stamps included with this set were created using SVG files imported into Bambu Studio. If there's interest, I will prepare a tutorial for creating, importing, and printing custom stamps. Inspecting the stamp objects in Bambu Studio will also be instructive.

Printing

The assembled set is multicolored, but is separated onto different plates for single color printing. Nozzle is 0.4mm and layer height is 0.12mm.

Have you experimented with TPU for the stamps? Just wondering if it would make a difference vs PLA

TPU stamps produced slightly bolder impressions, but not 'better' impressions. The key to good impressions is the flatness of the stamp and the flatness of the paper. Sanding the stamp down (I used wet sandpaper) is crucial. I also found that placing some sort of padding under the paper helped with imperfections; padding, like a few layers of paper towel.
