Description

NOTICE: Credit is given to RooShoo and link to their project is https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5266398

Print everything without supports EXCEPT the lens frames.

The face shell and lens includes holes for round circular magnets, of the following sizes.

4x of 6mm

4x of 8mm

Trim mesh into the lens clips as needed.

Sand down the face shell for comfort.

All sticking was done with Gorilla Glue, but can be done with any type of super glue.

There is a red mask over the shell. I will do the black web designs later with black fabric glue or hot glue.

I had a lot of trouble when printing because of the holes, so MAKE SURE ADHESION IS ON. This will save you a lot of filament, trust me.

If you are trying to save filament, don't print “spiderman_1_head_2_opt”. It is not extremely necessary, but would be nice and snug to have.

Good luck and ask questions!

The big ones are 8mm, and the small ones are 6mm.

You will need 4 of the 8mm, and 4 of the 6mm. And all this is only for the lenses.

The thickness of the magnets, however, don't really matter. It's good as long as it ranges from 2mm to 2.5mm.

would the magnets be ok if I substitute the 6mm with a 5x2mm magnet? there would be a little of gap but theoretically

mb for the late response but yeah definitely. As long as you have magnets that are in thickness of around 2mm to 2.5mm, it should be fine. Just make sure that ur glue is super duper strong so that the magnets don't fall out, since they are smaller. Iff you need me to i can put the link out for the magnets. They're just super cheap neodymium magnets.

Oh yeah definitely. Look at the print profile pic. Although this model is designed for a smaller head, you may need to modify it if you want it bigger.

Thank you for the comment. I completely forgot about that. If I get time this week, I'll make one, but for now, just try to look at the combined model on MakerWorld to try to piece it together.

do you have to cut the white lense after printing?

oh yeah just do it based on your convenience. However you want to stick it onto the black lense. I recommend measuring the white lens against the black lens, cutting it to a shorter length and then lightly soldering it to stick it on.

You need the magnets for the lenses, since the lenses need to go over the cloth mask, which is already over the the actual frame of the mask. So in simple words, everything that is not the lens, needs to be glued together. The lenses require magnets if you want a cosplay mask.

Bed Adhesion Issue:it's not adhering to the plate, when it starts printing after 6, 7 minutes, it detaches from the plate

That sounds like a problem from your bed maintenance, fix that first before blaming the model.

Could you please send a photo? All the floating parts of this print are printable without supports. I printed it three times on different printers as well.
