Description
This is a screw bit holder similar in size to a battery, consisting of three parts:
Top part, which is the lid,
Middle part, where the bits are inserted,
Bottom part, which is the larger section of the box.
I designed the entire piece in one file. It includes a decorative element that can be printed with an AMS-compatible file or attached after printing.
Important!
You will need 8x2 mm magnets to ensure proper alignment.
I added helper plates to the corners of the lid and the box to prevent warping. For the best results, I cleaned the PEI sheet with soapy water, then sprayed it with hairspray.
I also left a small gap in the lid and the bottom part where the printer closes larger surfaces. This avoids excess material that could bulge on the object. It’s a small trick, but it improves the final result significantly – although it’s not perfect.
