Description

After a long time of 3D drawing and testing, I present to you the first 3D model of the Wera Style Twist Unlock socket organizer 1/4 size.

You don't need any special tools for assembly, everything snaps together.
Fusion 360 files have also been added in case anyone would like to adapt the model to their needs.

Depending on the sockets, it may be necessary for the "Lower_piece" piece to cut or pinch off just a hair the front tab that holds the socket in place. Sometimes just 2-3 strokes with sandpaper are enough, and the socket snaps into place (still being optimized).

Since the model is not yet 100% finished, I am asking for feedback if anything needs to be done.
Models "End_cap" and "Upper_piece" need support (also visible in the attached 3mf. file)

I will be glad for any feedback.

Fits and Locks quite well, might be stretching it further to get on more sockets, But other than that its perfect.

Looks great and does the job. Thank you so much for including the different size files, that's a pro-level move. I wish the supports were easier to remove from the actual bit holding posts, but that's not the designer's fault. Five stars for sure!

Yeah I'm super interested in 3/8" and 1/2" style. Also if one of the holes at the ends could be a little bigger, more designed to hang from a caribiner. This little buddy could be really useful for theatrical and stage carpenters...

Works perfectly, I glued it as a replacement into my Kraftform Kompakt W1 because a colleague of mine didn't understand how to release them and broke two of the 1/4-inch holders. Now I have a perfect replacement 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
