This filament rack is designed to hold 36 spools of filament. It uses minimal material and prints super quick! (Total print time for all parts is 5 hours and 9 minutes) The simple design looks and feels strong, sturdy and elegant. I am keeping mine right next to my desk as a way to see all the colors and types of filaments I have. Previously, I kept my filament in a box in the closet and that led to me forgetting what colors and materials I had. Now, I can easily see what I have available and remind myself if I need to reorder extra spools of filament.
I chose to make the holder three rows tall in order to save horizontal space. This has proven to be effective since the footprint is only 36 inches wide, 9 inches deep and 19 inches tall.
