If you like this project, a boost means a lot — it helps me keep sharing more practical designs 😊
This is a pull-along elephant toy on wheels, designed for real play—not just to look nice on a shelf.
The idea comes from classic wooden pull toys, but executed with modern tolerances and smart mechanics.
I designed it for my son, and it quickly became more fun than his traditional wooden horse. The difference is balance, precision, and how smoothly it rolls.
Thanks to tight 3D-printing tolerances and my low-friction axle design, the elephant rolls easily, tracks straight, and stays stable when pulled. Where many wooden toys tend to tip over, this one just keeps going—sometimes sliding sideways a bit and looking cool while doing it.
For a child, that means fewer interruptions and more play. 🏎️
The model is oriented for strength and durability. No supports are needed, assembly is straightforward, and no glue is required. A pull cord can be added easily. It’s dual-color with very few filament changes, fits on the A1 mini build plate, and prints in about 2.5 hours.
A click-to-print profile is included, so you can go straight from download to playtime.
Simple, robust, happy—and actually fun to use. 😁
