Description

Finally I decided to upload my designed Ice Fishing rod turning for drying. This took a while to come up with and design all the pieces but if your a custom rod maker and need a turner this is a cheap option! It uses a few things you'll need to buy first

Ice fishing Rubber Chuck:

Turner motor, this does turn a little fast but it could be changed out if you can find something slower:

2mm Magnets (Multikit)

(2) Bearings

Once you purchased all these parts the rubber cup should slip right over the boot cup to grip the bottom of the rod, the motor coupler & sleeve need a magnet glued into each end so they grip together this is so you can stop the rod from rotating, but not stop the motor. What I also found the coupler might need a little lube to slip easily, Lastly the 2 ball bearings slip right on the nubs on the non motor support.
