Description
Easy way to check the chain slack of the 701/690/700, just push the model into the chain and push the chain up to the swing arm.
If you easily touch the swing it is too loose, if you don't touch the swing it is too tight and if it barely touches the swing it's fine.
Measuring the chain slack of the Husqy 701 or KTM 690 is always a bit difficult, having the bike on its stand, pushing the chain up and measuring the 30MM from chain slide and the 5MM to the swing.
This simple print does this for you but you still have to be on your knees :).
The chain inset is 30MM from the end of the tool and it is 5MM thick
As you can see in my last picture my chain is a little too tight.
