Description

I loved this tissue dispenser from Crooked_Noozle :
Moai Tissue dispenser by Crooked_Noozle - Thingiverse

But it was too big to fit in my P1P and I wanted to print it in one piece.

There was also the remix from Diggle (Moai Standing Tissue Box (Fits X1/P1) 247mm Height par Diggle | Téléchargez gratuitement un modèle STL | Printables.com) but it was designed for the little square tissue box.

This remix is designed to fit the common rectangle tissue box that we can found in Europe (probably also in other countries but I don't know).
It's pretty much always this size 230*114mm and the height can vary depending how much tissue is inside (63mm on the one in the picture).

I tried to optimize the design and the slicing to use as minimum filament as i can do without problem of toughness.

If you have a Bambu Lab P1/X1 printer, you can use directly the 3mf file in Orca Slicer.
If you're not, you can check those screenshot :

With these settings I used less than 400g of filament for this big part :

  • I made support only on two areas under the big bridge because it's not a visible area and it's working for me.
  • You should use different layer height at the top of the head because it's very flat, and the layers are visible (it's 0,24mm where it's white and 0,08mm where it's green on the picture).
  • The fuzzy skin is less than normal to be more rapid, and not “too much” on the moai.
  • I made two internal walls of 0,5mm to have enough toughness without using too much filament.

Have a nice print 😉
