Description

This is a cover for a Humminbird Helix 7. It should fit all Helix 7 models but I only have the G4N to test it on. I printed it in tpu and it fits snugly. It is in 2 parts and I used super glue to connect them. I did use supports on the over hangs so it would have a clean surface to fit together, but not on the logo. It is only .2mm recessed and printed nicely without supports. Just let the glue dry before test fitting, it does stretch a little and may pull a freshly glued joint apart.

This profile will only work with tpu. I started working on a PETG version. but haven’t perfected it yet. This model needs to stretch just a bit to fit. I will get on it!

I haven't tried it, There is a very small amount of stretch when putting it on but you could just scale the model up by a small amount. I am interested I will print one and see. Thanks!

Potentially, I wanted the face to be smooth so the logo would be prevalent. Not sure if the logo would show up well or not if the print was angled up. I also haven't had much experience with that tall of support with tpu. I wasn't positive that would be a reliable way to print.
