Description
The BMW F10/F11 Xenon headlights sometimes suffer from trapped moisture in the headlight housing because the seal and/or the plastic lens has cracked. This ventilation cap is a temporary fix until you can change the plastic lens or replace the headlight. I cut a piece of foam “filter” from a foam washing sponge to act as a filter or you can buy a sheet of 10 mm thick foam filter and insert it on the end of the ventilation cap.
Installation steps:
- Drill a few 10 mm holes on top of the headlight housing, use a vacuum cleaner to prevent debris from getting into the headlight housing.
- Dry out the headlight.
- Glue the ventilation cap into place.
