Description

I had downloaded the long throttle plate for the P1000 pedals from this post here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/456344#profileId-364175 and I wanted to make a brake pedal that matched.

I have the Simagic P500 pedals, and the mounting hole pattern just happens to be exactly the same as the P1000 so this throttle pedal face fit perfectly but it needed a companion because it no longer matched the stock pedal faces. So I just whipped this design up real quick in OnShape and matched the general aesthetic of the throttle pedal face.

I used Overture Starry Blue PETG and some brand-less “silky silver” PETG from Amazon for the accents. They came out looking really nice and very nearly resemble powder coated metal. The most noticeable improvement, as someone who sim races in socks, is that these are no longer cold to the touch when you first start playing! I also appreciate the wider surface area for my foot on the brake pedal.

Make sure you print it with the front facing down on a textured build plate for best results.
