Description

Kübelwagen is a German word, contracted from Kübelsitzwagen (literally: 'bucket-seat car') – originally military slang for doorless cross-country and field-cars, fitted with bucket seats, to prevent riders from falling out of the vehicle – became a household word similar in meaning to the English "jeep".

A rather appealing model I enlarged it somewhat... I will still add 2 to 3 figures to it Printed in Wehrmacht gray and the upholstery in troop black It coincidentally turned out to be 1:32 scale, if that's of interest

Printing worked well for me (0.12mm with a 0.4 nozzle). Only the seat surface of the rear bench seat and the two front seats was not printed - but that was my fault. I scaled down to 1:144, that's a bit small (I would say borderline) for my A1 mini ;-)

I'd love to print some kit cards for friends to build, but I have a small request first: could you please upload a file without the wrong name "Kibelwagen" on the side? I don't know how to modify it myself. Thanks for the great work!

Volkswagen sold these in a 1970s marketed as The Thing. there's also a fellow on Arizona who sells these cars as a kit you can buy and then drive around.
