Looking for a graceful and cute addition to your decor?
Here’s a fluffy barn swallow (Hirundo rustica)! Known for their elegant, streamlined bodies, long forked tails, and swooping flight, swallows are a universal symbol of hope, freedom, and renewal. Hirundo rustica rustica: With white breast and a marked dark band under the face, it's diffused mostly in europe and asia, with migration routes taking it to Africa.
Hirundo rustica erythrogaster: with more reddish colours, is widespread in North America and winters in South and Central America

European swallow or African swallow? Wonderful idea, I totally didn't think about that! If it's ok for you, I can create a coconut-bearing African swallow to accompany the European one.

Printed him up in Sunlu Purple/Black Silk, Polymaker Starlight Mars, and Sunlu Matte White. Absolutely handsome devil, even if he's stealing the feet off another fluffy bird while I print a perch for him. Great profile, no notes other than the thing mentioned earlier, printed cleanly with just the right amount of relatively easy to remove supports. A++++ would bird again.

Another beautiful little fluffy bird, another excellent model! 👌🏼I went for ornithologically accurate colors (best I could) and I really love the way that this Swallow ended up turning out, she’s adorable! I used Bambu PLA metal (copper) for the face, Bambu PLA galaxy (nebula - navy blue with green shimmer) for the top, and CookieCAD vanilla chip (white marble) PLA for the bottom part. I also printed the top piece using Bambu support for PLA as the support interface material with grid setting.
