Description
Material dryer and dehydrator print system for a Commercial Chef CCD100W6. I live in Florida and the humidity is always very high. This system allows me to print with filaments that are very hygroscopic in my garage (Nylon, TPU, PC, Etc.).
Andreq's tray extension was modified heavily to accept a spool and retainers for bearings. The pins and spool halves from GeckoPrime were also modified extensively to work with in this assembly.
There are a few other options available but I had issues with filament tangling in the horizontal orientation.
I purchased a food dehydrator because I liked how versatile they can be. With both drums and the plugs installed I can dry three roles of material at once or just start printing if material is somewhat dry.
System fit any dehydrator with a 235mm inside diameter.
Made for:
Commercial Chef CCD100W6
Westinghouse WFD100W
(does NOT properly fit the Rosewill RHFD-15001)
