Description

Toroidal Propeller for DJI Avata.
Please note that this is a 3D printed propeller.
It is not as strong as normal propellers and can break faster.

Yeah, even printed in PC, it exploded before I got off the ground.

I highly recommend to watch some youtube videos about 3d printed toroidal props. They are not as durable as normal props.

it worked for me. I printed the Props with PLA Basic and I was able to hover the Drone in my room without the props exploding🤷

There obviously wasn't a lot of time put into this model. The screws and the motor shaft didn't fit, the screw heads were poking out instead of countersunk like the real ones, and it exploded.

I don’t know what the problem with your print was but I had no problem with the screws nor the motor shaft and I used the standard screws that came with the original Avata. I would highly recommend to watch some youtube videos about 3d printed toroidal props. They are not as durable as normal props as I wrote in the description.

the props are louder, uses more battery life and motors get hot.

That is because they are 3d printed and nod moldinjectet like the props you can buy online. This means that they are not even close to beeing as stable as moldinjectet props. I would highly recommend to watch some youtube videos about 3d printed toroidal props.

I did a hover test in my room and it worked good. But I would recommend to print the props with a more stable material than than normal pla.
