AK 2515 VFD Holder for Audi A4 B5 Facelift

I designed this holder to work with the AK2515 sound visualizer. I like the retro aesthetic and all the retro visualizers (graphics eq) you can find were either Japan only and/or are extremely expensive. The AK2515 can be found for 30-40 USD on AliExpress and serve the same purpose.

This holder replaces the stock ashtray of the A4 B5 Facelift. The pre facelift model has a different ashtray and thus will most likely not fit. Models with the double DIN radio/satnav have no space underneath the ashtray and thus the mount will probably not fit.

The holder replaces the metal spacers includes with the VFD and the acrylic should fit into the cutout so it should sit flush.

The OEM ambient lighting that is installed in the ashtray can be installed on the holder so the space underneath is dimly lit. The small red led has no new place so just tug it away.

Under the holder there is some space for a phone or similar sized items, don't worry the Holder closes off the gap in the back just like the ashtray did so nothing should disappear.
