The advantages of a radiator booster
Radiator fans amplify the chimney effect, swiftly circulating warm air from the heater into the room. These convection enhancers more than double air turnover, accelerating energy transfer into the space.
The true benefits of radiator fans
Radiator fans ensure efficient warm air distribution, leading to faster, more uniform heating. They effectively double heating speed, allowing a 1-2°C thermostat reduction without compromising comfort.
Tests show that a radiator fan covering 60 percent of the radiator's width increased heat output by 33 percent. Full-width coverage could potentially boost output by up to 50 percent.
Radiator fan power consumption
An active fan consumes only 0.55W. With approximately 1,200 annual operating hours, this translates to roughly 0.66 kWh.

What is the use of a radiator booster
The radiator fans increase the “chimney effect”. They transport the warm air from the heater into the room, which warms it up quickly. Thanks to these convection amplifiers, the air turnover is more than doubled, meaning that the energy can be transferred into the room much more quickly.
What do radiator fans really do
Radiator fans ensure that the warm air from your radiator is distributed more efficiently throughout the room, resulting in faster and more even heating. Heats up the room twice as fast. This allows you to turn down your thermostat by 1-2°C without compromising room comfort.
When operated with a radiator fan that covers around 60 percent of the width of the radiator, the radiator was able to deliver 33 percent more power to the room. If the fan covers the entire width of the radiator, up to 50 percent more heating output could be achieved.
How much electricity does a radiator fan use
A fan only requires 0.55W when active. With around 1,200 operating hours per year, this corresponds to around 0.66 kWh.
