Bambulab ABL Widget V2 :
Bambulab ABL Widget is a simple accessory that let you easily see Z axis movements up to less than 100µm.
You can easily see how much Z axis is moving :
- when print head is shaking
- when print head is homing
- when making an Auto Bed Levelling
- when printing (and see how much Automatic Bed Levelling is used while printing)
- when you move hotend from printer menus (or studio)
By moving print head using menus to desired locations, it is a convenient tool to verify if your bed is warped and how much.
You will need a magnet (10mm diameter, 2mm thick) for a better installation an to be able to manually adjust or rmove the cursor at anytime.
If you don't have a magnet you can still use the printed pin that make the same size, but you will have to glue it in place, not the best solution.
Push the magnet into the cursor, it is very tight.
Stick in place the base, you can use a tiny point of super glue or another weaker glue, or a double sided tape or nothing, it should keep in place.
Now you can set the cursor in place and turn it freely to adjust its zero position or any position more convenient for your usage.
If you have used the magnet, you can also remove it at anytime.
