3D Printable Drywall Anchor with Locking Wings

Description
Here is my take on a 3d printed drywall anchor. This will only work with hollow walls, so if the drywall is right against brick or you hit a stud this will not work.
You will need to drill a ½" hole in your wall at the location you desire. I reccommend a stud finder and drilling a small hole first. then use the depth tool to determine the thickness of your drywall. insert the tool into the wall and hook the tool on the inside of the wall and note witch line is matched. 1=¼", 2=3/8" 3=½" 4=5/8". Select the size for your drywall thickness. Next determine if you need the short toggle. This is for use in places with tighter space behind the drywall. Otherwise always use the stronger long version

Insert the easy toggle into your ½" hole and hammer it in until flush with the wall.

Next insert the toggle tool into the anchor to cause the anchor to rotate behind the drywall.

Remove the toggle tool and attach your item with a screw. The screw should be a little difficult to screw in at first loosen up then tighten back again.

Edit 2/7/2025 I added the “wedge” to fill in the dead space in the hole if you desire. its not necessary though.
