Description
Versatile Camera Strap Adapter with Paracord Quick Release
Easily attach and detach straps to your camera with this 3D-printable quick-release adapter. Compatible with 2-point neck or shoulder straps and self-made 1-point wrist straps using paracord.
The assembly is highly durable, holding a significant amount of weight without budging, even under aggressive tugs while supporting the camera.
The clip attaches to the camera using a 10–12 cm piece of 550 paracord, secured with a knot on one end. For easier installation and removal, it's recommended to remove about 1 cm of the paracord core at the other end and melt the tip to a pointy shape.
Note: I reccomend printing the model at 99% scale if you want a tighter fit or have a heavier camera!

Making a DIY Camera strap with paracord
The wrist strap shown in the photo is called "Fishtail" and there are plenty of tutorials out there on how to make it. This one is about 26cm long and took 2 pieces of 4m long rope, I recommend cutting off atleast 5m to be safe.

Wrist Guard, you can use the included spacer to prevent the strap from tightening completely and pinching your wrist. Simply thread all cords through the spacer's holes and tie the knot as usual. I recommend positioning the spacer approximately 6.5 cm (depending on your wrist size) from the starting point of the cord.

I tied the end off with a few knots and melted the ends together so it doesnt untie itself. You can place the end clip on afterwards by bending the starting clip to the side.
