Presentation of the model: The Welder Boy in Brick Style!

I’m excited to present my new project: The Welder Boy in Brick Style! A huge thanks to @jknoth27 for requesting and sponsoring this project! This model is a unique addition for all fans of 3D printing and creative brick-style design.

Assembly

The assembly is simple, but depending on your printer’s accuracy, you might need to use a bit of glue to improve adhesion or give a light tap with a rubber mallet to perfectly fit the pieces. All joints are designed to ensure a solid and durable structure.

Special Note

The animated GIF accompanying this project was created with the help of artificial intelligence, so the minifigure doesn’t actually move or perform welding tasks for you! 😉

Conclusion

I hope you enjoy "The Welder Boy in Brick Style" as much as I enjoyed creating it! It has been a fun and challenging project, designed for those who love attention to detail and the art of 3D printing. Let me know what you think, and have fun printing and assembling it!

I’d say he’s ready for some flawless welding work! 🔥

Amazing print. Had an issue with one small part, but that was a contaminated plate. Wanted to put the company name on his overalls, but being a newbie, I gave up. Very impressed with the modelling and print. Excellent work. Thank you.

I had the opportunity to award one of our local high school welding classes this trophy. I used the original file and tranformed the color scheme, added their school mascot on the shirt, and modified the base to have a plaque with their information. I love your work and the ingenuity you brought to this model. Amazing work. Your design brought a lot of high school students some joy and pride in their accomplishments.

I have tried some of the other Big Brick models on here, but yours are the best! I like that your prints fit snug and don’t fall out with a shake. I also absolutely love the separate prints for the face parts! I have an AMS but it’s a huge waste of time on a head with some other models. plus you can easily customize the colors! and the shirt plates! yes thank you! that’s the way to make it easy to change and not waste hours with AMS head changes! I do have 1 suggestion. the shirts are pretty vertical and blocked (side profile) they should have a slight inward tilt (narrower at the shoulders wider at the waist) just slightly like a real mini figure does. the other suggestion is for the neck nub and head button to be a little taller and the edges slightly rounded in. this will give it a closer look to a real mini, and add a little more surface to grab on the head. I have not done any modeling yet myself. but I was wondering if you make yours available to remix or mod? I’d love to see Spider-Man Superman and other action figures.

Thank you very much for the compliments and suggestions! Currently, I do not plan to change the inclination of the figure's body, but it's something I might consider in the future. However, I am considering extending the neck, as also suggested by one of my patrons on Patreon, and revising the head-neck fit to improve functionality.Regarding sharing my models, I do not intend to make them available for remixing or modifying under a free license. Even under a standard license, I've noticed unauthorized remixes happening. Moreover, I find people online who are selling my models, blatantly claiming them as their own, which is very frustrating. If I were to release the models under a free license, I fear the problem could only worsen. I hope you can understand my position. As for future models, I am open to sponsorships for specific character requests. Thank you again for your interest and support!
