Description

Open style rope tensioner. The tensioner can be added after the rope is installed and there is an option to secure the rope end without a knot, super easy to untie since it relies on friction only. The 2 open ends are "open style" smooth loops, so you can simply snake your rope during the installation and tension the rope as you wish.

This cord adjuster will help secure your camping gear guy lines to the stakes or taps, ideal for hiking, tactical use, camping, crafting, kayaking, boating, utility and more.

Tie options :

Option 1 : No knot - Loop the end and friction lock the rope in the eyelets ;

Option 2 : Tie a little knot if you wish to have the tensioner permanently installed at the end of your paracord rope.

The model includes a L-Type end for a straight rope exit and this larger L-shape is designed to help you grip the tensioner while adjusting your rope tension.

Dimensions : 20mm wide x 50mm long x 10mm high. Rope holes are 5.5mm ⌀ (for 4mm paracord type 550).

Printing: No supports needed, to be printed flat on the bottom. Perpendicular hole will sag a little.

Other notes : The little groove on top surface is intended to distribute eyelet pull strength by sharing the pulling load in a circular pattern since the eyelets are open on one side.  The side groove should help to prevent torsion of the first eyelet.  This is an open eyelet  and was not intended to secure critical loads or hand overhead objects, so use common sense while using it.   Shown in white PLA and black PETG holding 15lbs (6.8kg) for demo purposes only. This tensioner needs a constant rope pull tension to perform well.
