Description

Hi there,

I was looking for a case to fit the Geekworm X1001 PCIe to M.2 NVMe Key-M SSD Shield for the Raspberry Pi 5, and I came across a design by Flieswithhand. Inspired by it, I created a quick remix featuring a custom top cover with added space to accommodate the EZDIY-FAB M.2 2280 SSD cooler, ensuring a neat and snug fit.

Materials Used:

  • Main Body: I used ABS for durability, but PETG should work just fine as well.
  • Screws:
    • The 3 screws included with the PCIe shield.
    • An additional plastic screw measuring 2.5 x 5 mm.

If anyone is interested in a version without the SSD cutout, feel free to let me know! 😊

Looks good, but indeed, it's not clear how to hang this on a Skadis board. There are no feet included.
