The peg would make it to where the Dummy 13 wouldn't be able to stand. It would be a too small surface area.

I know right! I love it. Also, the pegs on the front are so the dummy 13 can lay on the front without moving around. Like a handle.

I personally left them loose. My reasoning for it is just because if I ever have a dummy 13 cleaning the seats in a stop-motion he can take them off. Or if they are by a dock and need the space for partying.
