Description
This is my fully 3D-printed 10-inch-wide 5U rack cabinet, designed with simplicity and durability in mind. All dimensions align with the standard design and sizing specifications for rack cabinets. Key structural components, particularly the connection points, were reinforced using modifiers in Bambu Studio/Slicer (print profile).
These areas were configured with three perimeter walls and 30% infill, ensuring exceptional strength and rigidity where it matters most.
The frame itself was assembled using a connection system based on cylindrical pegs that slot into corresponding holes, providing a precise fit.
This system is further reinforced with super glue for a strong and stable base.
Future upgrades will include shelves specifically designed to hold network switches and dedicated computers.
If anyone requires a different hole size than the provided one, I can supply updated files, including adjustments for both the connecting elements and the holes for mounting new rack components.
