A 3D model of a latch and handle for balcony doors, designed to enable closing the doors from the outside. The design consists of three components: a base, a latch, and screw caps, which provide a clean finish and protect from dirt. The screw hole spacing is 47 mm, with an additional third hole included to strengthen the handle.
The latch is designed to have minimal play and does not slide loosely. This ensures that strong winds cannot accidentally move the latch, preventing the balcony doors from closing unintentionally when no one is outside.
The model is available in several height variations to fit the distance between the balcony door and the frame:
- 30 mm
- 25 mm
- 20 mm
- 15 mm
This height is measured from the base to the latch projection. The construction ensures durability and functionality, while the variety of sizes allows for customization based on user requirements.
