Anycubic Mega X - Head and Carriage Conversion

I've redesigned models inspired by TM2 and OrthoFabi on Thingiverse, along with some of my own designs, to create a seamless print head conversion for the Anycubic Mega X. This is part of what I'm calling the Ultimate Mega X Project, which includes adding a direct drive extruder, 3D touch, and Knutwurst firmware to this printer that as been unused for the past 2 years due to printing issues.

Warning!

This will reduce the usable X axis to 250mm

X axis and Extruder stepper motors have to be flipped

BOM: 

3x M5 Hex Nut

16x M3 Hex Nut

3x M5x20 (from original carriage)

3x M3x16

5x M3x12

8x M3x8 

1x BMG extruder

1x V6 volcano hotend with fan 

Assembly tips: 

• Begin by assembling the main plate with the extruder, stepper motor, and 3D touch.
• Next, construct the carriage with the pulley and belt tensioner (use a 12mm bolt).
• Combine both parts and then mount them on the profile with the tensioning bolts at their lowest positions. (M3x16 top, M3x12 bottom)
• Avoid mounting only the carriage part, as it may flex and make it difficult to mount the front part—trust me on this one! 😅
