Description

Clean, modern 3d-printed lamp design to display photos as lithophanes. Open source CAD available for remix.

Updated version of my old design in https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:238435/makes

CAD is available as a public Onshape model, please feel free to clone, remix, and update any of the parameters https://cad.onshape.com/documents/74da6eb0719cfd414a8e0fd4/.

Printing Instructions:

No supports needed. I usually print the inside piece with a brim.

Bill of materials:

5 lithophanes (104mm square, 2.5mm depth, 2mm border).
- I used the generator at https://makerworld.com/en/makerlab/makeMyLithophane
- https://lithophanemaker.com/Color%20Lithophane.html also seems workable
Printed lithobox parts (3)
LED puck light

overall, but i don't think it matters as long as it doesn't interfere with the casing

So Im trying to use led-lamp-kit-001 as mentioned in the description. But I cant put wire thru the hole, because usb part and switcher part is to big, it wont fit. Any recommendations? Also how to fix led to bottom part, should i glue them, because led wont hold by it self?

I went to the Makerworld link to make the lithoplane but the smallest depth it will let me make is 10mm. I'm sure that there's something that I'm missing.
