Pliers Soft Grip

As many people do, I tighten or loosen objects with my pliers. There are times when I don't want the object to show marks from the pliers grip or "teeth". To soften the pliers grip, I have custom designed removal soft grips that fit over the pliers jaw.

I understand that you can buy pliers with soft grips fitted to the jaw. Here is a way to add that functionality to an existing plier.

I have included a second version of the soft pliers grip. The second version suits a pair of pliers without the curved jaw.

The pliers grip needs to be flex and be soft, so I chose and recommend to print the grip in TPU filament.

My print is made in TPU 1.75mm Aurarum black filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 100% infill on a Bambu X1 Carbon printer. Supports required for curved parts, though not for flat parts.

Both Flat and Curved sleaves are presented in the one 3MF file. Delete the pair not required.
