Description

Canon EF 24-105 f4 Follow Focus Gear
Calling all filmmakers and videographers! If you're rocking the Canon 24-105mm f/4 lens and looking to up your game with smoother focus pulls, a follow focus gear is a must. But why spend big bucks when you can 3D print your own? Let’s dive into the process!

What’s a Follow Focus Gear and Why Do You Need One?

A follow focus gear attaches to the focus ring of your lens, making it compatible with a follow focus system. This allows for precise, smooth focus adjustments—a must for cinematic shots or professional video work.

What You'll Need:

  1. 3D Printer – Any FDM printer with a decent resolution (0.2mm layer height or lower) will work;
  2. Filament – PLA is a good starting point for ease of use and durability;
    1. If you are thinking about printing it in TPU, please resize it (needs to be a bit smaller);
  3. Follow Focus System – To pair with your gear once it’s printed.

Prints that make life smoother. Functional. Fast. Fun.
