This was the only way to get the best print results with minimal support. I&#39;ve combined the two seperate pieces into one, since the glue I was using just didn&#39;t hold the pieces together correctly. &nbsp;For this I enlarged the lower piece slightly, so it overlapped with the upper piece. &nbsp;This changes the look slightly (the blue lightsaber in the pic is my profile, the red lightsaber is the original profile), but it is completely secure. &nbsp;This uses a little bit more material for supports, and it is sadly to large for A1 mini, but it worked perfectly on my A1.

I didn&#39;t notice the was already a 1-piece profile when I made this, but oh well, this one takes advantage of newer features, saving time and filament. Notes:&nbsp;<ul><li>Base layer height is 0.15mm. As shown by CNC Kitchen, this is optimal for strength.</li><li>Adaptive Layer Height enabled. This takes some layers out of “optimal strength” range, but only the ones that don&#39;t need it anyways. Decreases print time.</li><li>Line width on the inside is 0.6mm. Again, shown by CNC Kitchen to be optimal for strength.</li><li>Infill is 13% 3D Honeycomb. 3D Honeycomb is strong and looks great.</li><li>Fuzzy Skin has been painted on for added grip.</li><li>Precise Wall is enabled which slightly decreases print time and makes the walls look nicer.</li><li>Requires 34-35g of support.</li><li>Despite the extra support, total filament used is over 30g less compared to the 2-piece!</li><li>Print time is 4.5-5h depending on your filament settings:<ul><li>My max volumetric speed is 25mm3/s, I think Bambu puts Generic PLA profiles at 12. Run a Max Flow Rate test and get the number for your filament. </li><li>The other important setting is max fan threshold, mine is 100%/6s with 80% Aux fan. Default is 100%/8s and 70% Aux fan.</li></ul></li><li>Print time with the original 0.2mm Strength profile and Generic filament is 6h42m. My profile with my filament saves 2h21m! Your results will vary.</li></ul>My kids absolutely love this, many thanks to the original designer. Of all the pool noodle swords I&#39;ve printed, this one has the best threads BY FAR! Every other one loses the noodle as some point during duels.&nbsp;&nbsp;TL;DR: Fuzzy skin (grip only), layer height + width optimized for speed and strength. Uses 30g less filament. Prints nearly 2.5h faster (for me).
