The Frugal Wizard's Handbook book cover
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is my 3D-printed take on the cover of The Frugal Wizard’s Handbook for Surviving Medieval England by Brandon Sanderson. It’s part of my ongoing project to bring my digital library to life since I mostly read on Kindle and miss out on having book covers on my shelves. Printed with five colors using a 0.4mm nozzle, this one has a fun and bold design that really stands out—the silhouette of the wizard, the intricate background details, and the retro vibe of the title all come together perfectly. It’s a unique way to show off my love for these stories and make my bookshelf something special.
The model has been created from a cover photo using HueForge. Below are the filaments I used and layer color-change settings in case you want to print without an AMS (you can absolutely do this without an AMS, pausing the print 6 times to manually change the filament - some colors are used more than once):
Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.04mm with a base layer of 0.16mm
Filaments Used:
PLA+ Sunlu Black Transmission Distance: 0.6
PLA PolyLite Blue Transmission Distance: 1
PLA+ IIID Max Teal Transmission Distance: 3
