Break-in the lid first! I designed the lid to slid in “too tight” versus “too loose”.

I wanted to give my ledger a little protection while traveling. I made this simple Ledger Nano X Travel Case. This is the absolute smallest Ledger case possible that you can print or that money can buy - its the Ledger dimensions + a 5mm shell. I wanted the lid very tight for the Ledger so the lid will require quite a bit of “breaking in”.

Do not put your ledger in until you fully close and open the lid 10-20 times. After 20+ full open+closes the case is “perfect”.

A plastic sliding lid will only get looser over time; printing it "too tight" is the only option for a Ledger in my opinion. This is not a lid for a box of toys - this is a Ledger! You may think it's too tight when you print it, but after it's broken in and you have it “up and running”, I promise you wouldn't want it any other way!
