To celebrate the Year Of The Snake, I am thrilled to unveil the Duskscale Snake:
This mesmerizing creature, with a total length of 46 cm (18.1"), is not just a showpiece—it’s a fully articulated model with intricate details. The mouth opens to reveal its menacing venomous fangs, adding a touch of danger and realism to its mystical allure.
Printing Instructions:
- Prepare the Print Bed (Important Step!)
- Clean the print bed thoroughly with alcohol or, preferably, isopropyl alcohol to ensure proper adhesion.
- Attention! Additional adhesive for the print bed is highly recommended! I suggest using 3D-Lac spray or alternatively hairspray for PEI print beds, and a glue stick for Bambu’s original Cool Plate.
- Download the Print Profile
- Download the pre-configured print profile for Bambu Studio.
- Download the pre-configured print profile for Bambu Studio.
- Open the File
- Open the file in Bambu Studio.
- Open the file in Bambu Studio.
- Select Your Printing Options
- Choose your filament type and color.
- Select your print bed type (e.g., textured or smooth).
- Confirm your printer settings, ideally for a Bambu Lab printer.
- Start Printing
- Begin the print job. All necessary supports are already included in the print profile.
Assembly Instructions:
- Remove the Support Structure
After printing, carefully remove the single support structure located under the head.
- Locate the Jaw Guide
Find the small guide on the underside of the head.
- Insert the Lower Jaw
Align the lower jaw with the guide and gently press it into the head.
- Secure the Jaw
- Continue pressing until you hear a satisfying click. This ensures the jaw is securely attached.
And just like that, your Duskscale Snake is ready to slither into action, bringing an air of mystery and danger wherever it goes!
