The Compartmentalized Rhombic Dodecahedron is a unique geometric model featuring a rhombic dodecahedron with subdivided, hollowed compartments within each face. This design highlights the elegance of the rhombic dodecahedron while introducing an intricate structural element that creates visual depth and complexity.

This model is perfect for exploring geometric forms, as a display piece, or for educational purposes. Its open compartments invite creative interpretations, whether as a decorative element or a conversation starter in mathematical studies.

3D Printing Settings:

Supports: Required (organic tree supports recommended).

Ironing: Enable on top surfaces for a smoother finish.

Infill: Gyroid, 10%

Brim: You'll want to use a brim, inner AND OUTER brim to avoid adhesion issues if you are printing in halves, if printing with the supports, you should be fine, i always use a brim but that's just personal preference

Seam Position: Back

Optional: Print in halves and glue together for a cleaner finish, but only if you’re prepared to hide the seam using wood filler, paint, or other finishing methods.
