Suggested Rules -
Setup
- Defenders - Place the king on the central square, surrounded by his defenders on the squares sharing the same color.
- Attackers - Position the attackers on the squares sharing the same color.
- The attackers move first

Movement
- All pieces move along rows or columns any number of spaces, but cannot jump over or land on other pieces. (like a Rook in Chess)
- Only the king may occupy the central square or any of the corner squares.

Capturing
- A piece is captured by sandwiching it between two of your own pieces on opposite sides along a row or column. The captured piece is immediately removed from the board.
- It is possible to capture multiple pieces in a single move; all such pieces are removed at once.
- A piece can also be captured against an empty corner square or the central square, as though one of your pieces occupied it.

Winning the Game - Attackers - Capturing the King
- The king is captured by surrounding him on all four sides.

Winning the Game - Defenders
- The defenders win if they successfully move the king to one of the four marked corner squares.
- The attackers win by capturing the king before he escapes.
