Description

This pack includes the following bearings on different plates:

  • 608ZZ
  • 607ZZ
  • 606ZZ

While these bearings lack the strength and durability of metal bearings, but good for functional prototyping. Their design has been improved over previous version to reduce brittleness, with minimized gaps for better stability and performance.

Printed with OEM 0.4mm nozzle with PLA. I am almost sure 0.6 nozzle is too thick for this - balls will likely stick to outer and inner race.

Each model is designed with a 0.12 mm layer thickness and a peel-away sacrificial bottom layer (marked by a red arrow) to support the balls during printing, which shall be removed using a thin flat screwdriver/pin/fingernail etc.

Post print: I recommend to cycle the bearings through back and forth multiple times with moderate force to smooth out surface imperfections and disconnect balls that may have accidentally adhered.. Then apply silicon grease.
