Description

Ah, a delightfully niche project! This little creation started as a personal endeavor—a mad scientist experiment, if you will—but due to an unexpected surge in interest (from those equally brilliant or perhaps just as peculiar as myself), I’ve decided to share it here. Who knows? Maybe you’re as captivated—or as mildly unhinged—as I am when it comes to such whimsical concepts!

The idea sprouted when I stumbled upon a glorious 13.3" OLED display on AliExpress. Naturally, I couldn’t resist pondering: How could I transform this into some sort of “handheld” marvel? And voilà! After much tinkering, head-scratching, and muttered incantations, this is the result, it also benefits from making the switch run in full 1080p mode on the go! what could be more glorious?

The Details:

  • Printing: It’s printable (just barely!) on an X1C, P1S, P1P, or A1. But here’s the catch—it must be printed at the exact angle provided in the file. No shortcuts, my friend!
  • Components:
    • You'll need an Original or OLED Switch, either will fit in this case.
    • The star of the show: the 13.3" OLED display (link here).
    • A trusty sidekick: a 65W power bank (link here). Other power banks might work, but I haven’t dared venture into that uncharted territory.
    • A short USB-C to USB-C display cable (link here).
    • A USB-A to USB-C cable for power (a mundane necessity, but essential nonetheless).
    • For the adventurous souls: there’s a slot for a USB-C female port if you want the option to charge the battery without removing it. Totally optional but undeniably cool.

So there you have it! If you’re intrigued (or just itching for an eccentric project), give it a whirl. Fair warning: this might just be the most delightfully obscure thing you’ve ever printed. Embrace the madness—er, the creativity!
