Description

This is a 1:3 scale 3D reproduction of the famous "Welcome Stranger" gold nugget, discovered on February 5, 1869, by John Deason and Richard Oates near Moliagul, Victoria, Australia. The original nugget is the largest ever found, with an astonishing weight of 2,520 troy ounces (approximately 78.5 kilograms) before it was melted. It measured 61 cm × 31 cm × 16 cm.

The 1:10 scale version retains the details of the original nugget, making it a remarkable piece for collectors and enthusiasts of gold rush history. It is recommended to print using a glittery filament to mimic the sparkling effect of gold or white filament for later painting with a golden finish.

Supports are required during the printing process to preserve the details and ensure a high-quality result.
