Description

Universal string reel.

Some assembly required with the spool. I just used super glue and that has held up great.

Reel handle is a snap assembly.

It is designed to accept a 3/8 socket adapter to wind with a drill as well. I recommend not going full speed though. The friction will melt the hole. Ask me how i know.. lol

This reel is perfect! Great design, strong and extremely useful. Exactly what was needed for my plumb bob. Great work!

What a good design. Printed well with PETGHF. I'm going to try to scale to 125% to use with some larger bank line.

Awesome! Glad you like it. I had it sitting in my fusion files for quite a while and figured it could come in handy for a lot of people.

It scales up perfectly. I might be able to do that in Fusion, but it would probably take me a week or longer. I am curious to know how you added the carabiner attachment? Thanks again for the great model.

Excellent! And the best part was including the 3D assembly instructions, otherwise I wouldn't have managed

What is the max cord size for the housing exit hole? What size cord did you design this for and how much can it hold? For example, could this reel hold 200 feet of 1/8 inch cord? Thanks

The green cord pictured is about 2mm diameter and there is around 200ft on it with some room to spare. With that, I cant confirm or deny that 200 ft of 1/8 inch would fit.

Thanks, great model. Printed at 150% and then manually scaled the Z by about 30mm. Works great.
