TinySA Ultra Antenna Handle V18

 

TinySA Ultra RF Signal Finder Assembly

 

Assembly of 3D printed parts for use with TinySA Ultra and WA5VJB 400 MHz to 1000 MHz LPDA antenna for radio direction finding.

 

UPDATE: A heavy-duty version 21 that accommodates larger WA5VJB LPDA designs is now an option.  This is an advanced application for those with specific knowledge, so please don't ask for support.

 

UPDATE 2: Sun hood / weather shield and weather plug added.

 

Printed on Bambu Lab A1 with generic PETG.  Six objects on plate.  Assemblies requiring glue are bonded with SCIGRIP WELD-ON 16.

 

Print it in light blue or digital blue so that it will not be mistaken for a weapon.  Blue is the international law enforcement color indicating non-weapon items shaped like weapons.

1x TinySA Ultra radio frequency spectrum analyzer (original TinySA does not fit)

Requires secondary operations:

 

10-32 tapping of two holes in printed antenna assembly

 

Assembly and gluing of two tapered dovetail blocks and one small cable guide clip into antenna assembly

 

Assembly and gluing of one small barb tab into grip assembly

 

Drill 2x 0.200" diameter holes in WA5VJB LPDA PCB antenna, aligned with printed antenna assembly
