Description

I love the vacuum extraction on modern tools, but often get bored of constantly having to reattach hoses, so I created this simple switchable duct that allows one of two hoses to be easily selected to the vacuum.

The inner sleeve has positive stop positions at each of the exit port locations to mean its easy to select the correct hose.

It is based on standard Festool hose fittings, but could be adapted for other systems, it can be mounted directly on an MFT rail for easy access , or fitted directly to a CT-VA cyclone when out of the workshop.

It uses an M6 brass insert to hold the lever, and a few 30mm M6 cap head screws and nuts to hold the body together.

PETG works well, its best to force supports only from baseplate, i made the lever in PLA which works fine

This is without a doubt one of the coolest most useful prints I've seen and a great design, way better than opening and closing different blast gates like other designs. And it fits on my mw1000 or mft table. Printed great with black PETG and a White PETG knob. Thank you so much for this!

How are you guys adapting to the end of the Festool hose... my hoses all have a small 13/8" end nozzle.
