Description

Wool bowl

As a christmas present i modeled a wool bowl. You can store your balls of wool and use the threads to unroll the string easier. Added some flowers, butterflies and hearts to the outer surface. Therefore the supports seem to be everywhere, but actually don´t take too much time. I guess you could print the ornaments without supports - keeping the supports for the threads is highly recommended. Also be careful while removing the supports at the threads, because if something is prone to break it´s the overhangs. Used again the BambuLab PLA marble as usual. Just really like the added texture.

Have fun printing!

07.03.2026 adjusted print profile for more stability

After a lot of positive but also some negative feedback regarding issues with failed prints I adjusted the print profile. Essentially there is no filling anymore, but 5 walls. Also added more supports to the 3 critical overhangs, but ultimately took them them out again because there would be more issues removing them than helping the stability. Shoutout to @Patrick3DBerlin for testing relentlessly and publishing the results ultimately contributing to the new print profile!
