CABLE. MANAGEMENT. The Minisforum DEG-1 is arguably one of the cleanest solutions for an egpu via oculink, but, even if you have a modular GPU, it can get… unwieldy.
This aims to fix that. Just zip tie the heck out of your cables, and then slide this over it.
Remember to leave one (or two, gpu card depending) of your PCI-E cables free to come through the hole.
I used these clips to keep the shroud down on the right (using the weight of the unit to hold the clips down). And, used doublesided tape across the top. of the shroud to keep from popping up any. I'll admit, I used mounting tape, but if your cable management is good, double sided tape should work too.
Version 2 desires:
- A square hoop that goes around the power supply (at the back) and has a hinge on the top so I can open it later (if needed) on a hinge.
