Description
1:8 and 1:10 RC wheel balancing stand, including 12mm and 17mm connectors
Materials:
MR83ZZ (3-8-3) bearings x 2
M3*50 pan head screws x 1 (a deeper press fit for the rear bearing is possible, M3*40 can also be used)
M3 hex nuts x 2
3M double-sided tape and nuts for balancing weights
Assembly:
- Print the test model, press in the bearings, and determine the x-y hole compensation values
- Print the main stand body and press a bearing into each side
- Insert the M3 screw from the outside to the inside, install a nut on the inner side of the stand, the nut should not be over-tightened (only used to secure the screw), a small amount of screw adhesive (502 glue can also be used) can be applied
- Rotate the screw, ensuring smooth and unimpeded rotation, then install the hexagonal wheel hub connector (tight fit, screw through the connector)
- Press the hex nut into the wheel fixing device
Install the wheel, insert it into the hexagonal connector, and tighten the wheel fixing device

Dynamic Balance Adjustment:
Rotate the wheel left and right and observe to find the wheel's lightest position

Mark the lightest position (directly above) with a pen

Apply double-sided tape to the inside of the lightest position and try different weights (I used an M5 flange nut and a washer)

- Repeatedly rotate and test until the wheel can stop in any position when gently rotated
Result: As you can see, the rubber tire on this set of wheels was haphazardly glued, but after dynamic balancing, the car will not vibrate
