Description
I present to you a keychain inspired by the shape of an Instax camera with a slide-out photo drawer.
- size of the keychain is approximately 4.5cm x 4.5cm
- size of the photo in the drawer is 2cm x 2.5cm
The keychain can be printed in 3 parts - bottom part with pins, drawer and top part.
For those who want it more colorful, you can print the flash and lens cap separately in different colors.
The top part is printed with supports.
Assembly is simple. Insert the drawer into the top part. Try its movement. If it seems too stiff, you can slightly sand the sides of the drawer. Put a drop of glue in the holes in the top part. You can use glue around them too, but be careful not to glue the drawer. Insert the pins of the bottom part into the top part, press it and fix it with clamps.
The holes for the flash and lens cap are made to fit easily into the top part. A drop of glue is all it takes.
You can place the photo in the drawer before or after assembly. Print the photo (± 2cm x 2.5cm) and attach it to the drawer using glue or double-sided tape.
The drawer has stops to prevent it from falling out. So don't forget to insert it during assembly. It won't be possible later 😅
